Abstract
This study examined the role of the digital feedback strategy in enhancing adherence to academic and professional standards in inquiry research writing among Arabic language students enrolled in the higher diploma program for teacher preparation. To achieve this objective, a research assessment instrument was developed to measure participants’ performance across seven dimensions of inquiry research writing: Demonstration of knowledge and understanding, application of knowledge and understanding, critical thinking, critical reflection on professional practice, initiative and problem solving, pedagogy, and presentation and communication. The sample comprised 183 Arabic language teacher candidates at Yarmouk University, selected through convenience sampling during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Participants were assigned to two sections, one of which was randomly designated as the experimental group (n = 92) and taught using the Digital Feedback Strategy, while the other served as the control group (n = 91) and was taught using the conventional strategy. The findings indicated statistically significant differences in adherence to academic and professional standards, both individually and collectively, in favor of the experimental group.
